fans
It's no secret that without our loyal fans the Hellfish would be just another broke Ultimate team playing with no spectators and cramming 24 people into 3 one-bed hotel rooms, relying solely on Mountain Trail Mix and free, often sub-par continental breakfasts to stay alive (don't tell the Days Inn). In the 2011 - 2012 season especially we have been blessed with some of the finest Ultimate supporters this side of the Mason-Dixon Line. On this page we would like to give them our thanks, as well as provide any others who wish to follow the team with the means to do so.

Doc Sweeney
Dr. Kevin Sweeney, more commonly know to the team as "Doc Sweeney" has been a part of the Hellfish family for years. The father of current A-Team captain Quin Sweeney, he has immortalized himself as grandmaster photographer of the JMU Ultimate community by capturing the team's legendary athleticism and camaraderie. During the several days after a tournament where Doc Sweeney was in attendance, the Hellfish spend an atrocious amount of time on Facebook, waiting for the artwork that are his photos to be posted so that they may finally change their profile pictures. Mr. Sweeney has also been kind enough to let us stay at his home in Charlottesville on more than one occasion. His lovely wife, Ann, and talented daughter, Bridget, have also helped us tremendously and ensured that our stays with them have been great ones.
Sweet Lou
Lou, "Sweet Lou", Schurott has been an outstanding supporter of the Hellfish team this year. He graciously hosted half the team at his lavish man-cave in Yorktown during the Dog City Classic in Williamsburg. Since then Sweet Lou has been a regular attendee at tournaments, providing motivational speeches the likes of which only true champions can replicate. If children could adopt parents, that's what we would do for Lou, as the entire team harbors a secret jealousy for Dank @$$ Jeff's Schurott lineage.
